Understanding Support Access

Cameyo values your privacy and offers you control over the level of support access you grant our teams. This access is crucial in providing timely and efficient troubleshooting when you need it.

  • Full Support (Full): Cameyo support teams can access both your account and servers, enabling comprehensive troubleshooting and issue resolution.

  • Partial Support (Partial): Cameyo support teams can access your account but not your servers. This allows us to review your configurations and settings, but not directly connect to your server environments.

  • No Support (None): Cameyo support teams have no access to your account or servers.

Opting In/Out During Account Creation

When creating a new Cameyo account, you'll be presented with an option to opt in to support. If you choose to opt in, you can further specify the level of support access: Full or Partial. If you choose not to opt in, no support access will be granted.

Opting Out Entirely (After Opting in During Account Creation)

To completely opt out of all Cameyo support functionality, you can use the support access level toggle.

  1. Go to the ‘Support access level’ on the “company settings” page

  2. In the “Global Support Permission” dropdown, select the ‘None’ option

  3. This will prevent Cameyo support teams from accessing any data related to your account.

Changing Your Support Preferences

You can change your support preferences at any time using the support access level toggle.

  1. Go to the ‘Support access level’ on the “company settings” page

  2. Select either Full or Partial support as desired

  3. Save your changes.

Note: This will only cascade to servers that have not been directly assigned a PowerTag support entry after account creation.

Remember: Cameyo support teams only access your data when necessary and with your explicit written permission (via email or support case).
